Susan Lee Strickling was born July 15, 1956 in Salt Lake City to William and Jean Thomas.
Susan passed away March 31, 2013 in Layton, Utah.
She married her sweetheart Denver Stickling October 2, 1974.
Her family was her life and through her health struggles she put her family first. She also loved to cook and was excellent at it.
She is survived by her husband Denver, Sons Earl (Desirae), Denver Lee (Gabrielle), daughter, Mercedes, brother, Kenneth (Arlene), four grandsons, two granddaughters, 18 step-grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, William, sister, Linda and brother, Robert.
Friends may visit family on Thursday, April 4, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
In lieu of flowers, donate to the Kidney Foundation.
