Susan May Mikkelson

Susan May Mikkelson, 73, of Magna, Utah, passed away on October 11, 2025 surrounded by her two children.

Susan was born on May 26, 1952, to Gerald and Gisel Horn in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She was one of six children.

Susan was adored by her four grandchildren — Connor, Carter, Amelia, and Jayden. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with them. She loved being their “Nana,” and they will forever miss her love and playful nature.

Susan is survived by her children, Carrie and Josh (Kim); her life partner, David Ruiz; her siblings John (Jeanie), Joanne, Gerald, and Steve (Mischelle); and her beloved fur babies, Marvin and Bo. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Sandy.

Please join us in celebrating Susan’s life on October 24th at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N 400 E, Bountiful, Utah. A viewing will be held one hour prior, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
