Sue Carol Peterson

Sue Carol Peterson, 80, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. She was born on February 19, 1944, in Toledo, OH, the daughter of William Clarence and Geraldine Smith Chevalier.

Sue married Kent W. Peterson on August 16, 1974. They raised their two children in Ogden, Utah, where they resided for 55 years.

She worked as a CNA at St. Benedict’s Hospital in Ogden and later Ogden Regional Hospital when the name was changed.

Sue is survived by her husband, Kent; grandsons, James Thomas Chevalier and Levi Michael Johnston; and two great-grandchildren; and sister, Diane Underwood. She was preceded in death by her two children, Cindy Sue Chevalier and James Charles Chevalier; her parents; and one brother, Jerry Chevalier.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
