Steven Douglas Wilkins

February 23, 1955 — December 13, 2023

Steve Wilkins, 68, passed away December 13, 2023. He was born in 1955 in Japan. He is survived by his three children Christopher Wilkins, Brittany Baird, Jonathan Wilkins, five grandchildren, and three brothers Robert, Michael, and Tom. Steve was predeceased by his daughter Andrea Wilkins and sister, Cynthia Wilkins.

Steve was a loving father and an extraordinary grandfather. He was also a man of many hats from sports lover to computer programmer. If there was something to keep active or challenge his brain, hes done it. Loving all things music, he loved to play guitar and made sure that his children and grandchildren knew how to play at least one instrument. He had a love for all sports and in his younger years could be found always playing any number of them. Avid golfer, he passed on his love to his children and his grandchildren, making sure that as they learn the arduous nature of the sport, that they kept their heads down through their swing.

He was a charming, intelligent, and hardworking man with a heart that was close to bursting in size. Any person could feel his welcoming nature and he made sure that each person he cared for was well aware of his love. No matter the issues he had with his health, he would hold a happy heart and light up the room.

Our family gives thanks to all who were a part of his life and our lives. We know that he had a major impact on many lives, and we want you to take your time thinking back on your memories of him. His laugh will continue in each of our hearts.

As the Christmas season tends to be busy for all. We have yet to determine a date for any ceremony and gathering. We will notify those who wish to attend early 2024.
