Stephanie Ann James, born on November 7, 1972, in Grafenwohr, Germany, passed away peacefully in Harrisville, Utah, on May 17, 2025. A cherished daughter, sister, grandmother, and aunt, Stephanie leaves a legacy defined by love, creativity, and an unwavering spirit.
Stephanie’s early years were filled with curiosity and adventure, which fostered her lifelong passion for travel. She pursued her education with diligence, earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Sacramento State, an achievement that reflected her tenacity and ambition. Her career at Northrop Grumman showcased her commitment to excellence and innovation, where she made meaningful contributions and built lasting relationships with her colleagues.
Beyond her professional life, Stephanie was an enthusiastic artist, often immersing herself in painting. Her love for art was matched only by her appreciation for reading and music, interests that not only enriched her own life but also brought joy to those around her. Stephanie had a unique ability to create beauty in everyday moments, a gift that will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Stephanie is survived by her beloved fiancé, Glen West, and her two daughters, Megan Khribeche-Burr and Aurora Irvine, who continue to carry forward her bright spirit. She was also a proud grandmother to three grandchildren, whose lives she touched in countless ways, firmly rooting her love and wisdom in the next generation. She is remembered fondly by her brothers, Don Burr and Justin Burr, and her sister, Tammie Burr, who will carry her memory close to their hearts.
Her family is comforted by cherished memories of their beloved mother and sister, alongside the enduring bond they share. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marsha Burr, and her sister-in-law, Lisa Burr, both of whom she loved deeply and who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd, Ogden, Utah. Friends and family are invited to visit with the family prior to the services from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. The burial service will take place at Lindquist's Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
Stephanie's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. Her laughter, creativity, and ability to find joy in the little things will be remembered with fondness and gratitude. As we gather to celebrate her life, we honor a remarkable woman who truly made the world a brighter place.
