Spencer Paul Barrow
Spencer Paul Barrow returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, January 14, 2012 after a long and difficult battle with drug addiction.
He was born May 17, 1976 in Baltimore, Maryland to Dean Alan and Ann Ogden Barrow. Spencer was raised in Clearfield, UT and graduated in 1994 from Clearfield High School.
Spencer was a natural athlete and excelled in soccer, baseball, wrestling and basketball. He lettered in wrestling and baseball at Clearfield High. He was passionate about his New England Patriots, St. Louis Cardinals, Detroit Pistons, Duke Blue Devils, Florida State Seminoles and University of Utah Utes.
Spencer had a special way of making friends. He was a loyal friend and always willing to serve them in time of need. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Spencer is survived by his parents; two sisters, Gayanne (Tommy) Babcock, Alyson (Zach) Petersen; three brothers, Brian (Kimberly), Curtis (Mindy) and Boyd (Leslie); two nieces, Madison and Kenzie Barrow; four nephews, Tyler, Matthew, Tracy and Caleb Barrow.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 21, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the Syracuse 7th Ward Chapel, 1625 S. 1100 W. Friends may visit family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road and Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the church. Interment, Syracuse City Cemetery.
The family wants to express appreciation to all those who loved and helped Spencer through his years of addiction. In Lieu of flowers please make memorial donations in Spencer''s name to the Valley Rehabilitation Facility, P.O. Box 9584, Ogden, UT 84409.
