Somchith Souvannasap passed away Saturday, November 23, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed.

Somchith was born July 30, 1948 in Sakhon Nakhon, Thailand to Sie Pang and Savai Plane Ek.

Somchith dedicated 33 years of work to Lifetime Products as an assembly worker.

Phoy Souvannasap and Somchith were married on September 2, 1965. They were married for 54 wonderful years.

Somchith loved spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. Family always came first to Somchith. She loved to garden and cook, singing, dancing, shopping, fishing and being in style.

Her children: Yoifa (Justin) Walker, Vasna (Miguel) Elguea, Visnou (Camie) Souvannasap, Sunty (Melisa) Souvannasap, Maly Souvannasap, Spencer (Janice) Souvannasap, and Michael (Julie) Souvannasap, 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends Monday, November 25, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment following cremation will take place at a later date at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
