Our precious son, beloved brother, grandson, uncle, cousin, nephew and dear friend, Shon Jace Warren, returned to the loving arms of our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 28, 2011.
Shon was born April 18, 1983 and was welcomed by his parents, Brent Warren and Debbie Allred and three older brothers, Brody, Christopher and Casey. He was raised in Roy and graduated from Roy High School in 2001. He grew up playing all sports but his true love was football. Shon was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and loved bantering back and forth with his brothers and father. Shon enjoyed hunting and fishing with his dad and brothers. He also loved boating and camping with his mother, stepfather and extended family. He loved spending time with his family especially his brothers and all of his nieces and nephews. He always looked forward to Sunday breakfast with his family at Grandma and Grandpa Warren''s. He enjoyed spending time at Bear Lake building his family cabin with his father and brothers.
He worked with his father doing construction while going to school. He became a CNA and worked at several nursing facilities. Shon found a love for fighting wildfires and serving his community and began fighting wildfires across the Western United States for several years. He went on to become an EMT and Firefighter for Riverdale City. Shon excelled at everything he put his mind to.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a strong testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel. Shon knows that "With God all things are possible".
Shon is survived by his father, Brent and Mary Jane Warren, mother, Debbie and Dave Allred, brothers, Brody (Kim), Christopher, Casey (Candis), seven step-brothers and sisters, seven nieces, 13 nephews and his dog, Roxie, which he loved dearly. Also survived by his grandparents, Darlene Warren, Ray Allred, Beverly and Larry Wardley, Dan and Lisa Thomas and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gaylen Warren, grandmother, Nita Allred, grandmother, Bonnie Spackman and nephew, Heston Brian whom all greeted him as he returned to Heavenly Father. Even though our time together was short we as a family know you are with our Heavenly Father. Shon we will truly miss you and rejoice when we are able to see you again. We love you.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 4th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary 3333 West 5600 South.
The family will meet with friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary
Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
