Shirley Larsen Hartley

Shirley Larsen Hartley, 91, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, December 5, 2012. She was born on July 7, 1921 in Mink Creek, Idaho to Junius C and Charity Eliza Rasmussen Larsen.

She married Don B. Hartley on July 30, 1941 in the Logan LDS Temple. He passed away on August 11, 2003.

Shirley retired from IRS as a Tax Examiner after many years of service.

She loved camping and fishing with family and friends. She loved to quilt and made beautiful quilts. She enjoyed putting puzzles together, watching old movies and reading a good book.

Shirley is survived by her son, Don Blaine (Paulene) Hartley, Leeds, Utah; daughters, Jan Tidwell, Ogden; and Pattie Hartley (Carlin) Maw; 9 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Thane (Margaret) Larsen and sisters, Donna Purser and Claudia Mitton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don B. Hartley; parents and 8 siblings.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 10, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit family on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Clinton City Cemetery.
