Shelagh Stoker Christensen

Shelagh Stoker Christensen passed away on February 22, 2022 at 2:08 p.m.  She was born on April 16, 1945 to Ervin Rowe and Margret Millar Stoker.  She was the youngest sibling of Michael, Kathleen, and Ron Stoker.

On November 1, 1963, Shelagh married her soulmate Ray Christensen and shared 58 amazing years together.  They had five children Kevin, Troy, Heather, Misty, and Ryan.

Shelagh was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She loved having family time, camping, boating and going on vacations.  She also enjoyed shopping.

Shelagh will always be remembered for her contagious laugh, sense of humor, warm smiles and singing to her family.  Her favorite songs to sing were Irish lullabies.  She was an amazing Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother.

Shelagh is survived by her husband Ray, Layton, UT, son Troy (Tom), England, daughter Heather (Kyle) Rodeback, Layton, UT., daughter Misty (Ryan) Raasch, Layton, UT., granddaughter Jacqulyn (Neil) Barrio, Syracuse, UT, grandsons, Zachary Christensen, Layton, UT., Tyson (Brooklynd) Trujillo, Ogden, UT., RJ (Aly) Raasch, Layton, UT., Logan Raasch, Layton, UT., great-granddaughter Adeline Barrio, Syracuse, UT., great-grandsons; Owen Barrio, Syracuse, UT., Evan Trujillo, Ogden, UT., sister Kathleen (Jim) Overton, Mesa, AZ., brothers; Michael (Carol) Stoker, Layton, UT., and Ron Stoker, Layton. UT.

She was preceded in death by her sons Kevin and Ryan Christensen.

Graveside services will be held Friday, March 4, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah.  Friends may visit with family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary prior to the graveside service.
