Sheila Rae Palmer passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023. Sheila was born to Lynn Waldo and Lucille Tidwell in Ogden, Utah. Sheila spent some of her childhood in Southern California where she fell in love with the ocean. Sheila grew up with two sisters, Sherrie Bigler and Lynell Tidwell and her brother, James Tidwell.

 

She loved music and the outdoors. Fishing was her favorite pastime.

 

Sheila had two sons, Thomas and Brian Robinette; five grandchildren, Brian, Scooter, Nathan, Carter, and Kennedy. 

 

One of Sheila’s proudest accomplishments was being part of the major construction project on Washington Blvd from 22nd to North Street in her hometown of Ogden.

 

Sheila was the main caregiver to her husband for over 20 years and took extreme pride in that.

 

Sheila is survived by her sons, her grandchildren, and her siblings.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Palmer; her grandson, B.J; and parents, Lynn and Lucille.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, July 17, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
