Shawn Lee Hardy, 51, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017. He was born in Bountiful, Utah, on January 5, 1966 to Byron Schofield and Betty Kaye VanderMeyden Hardy.
Shawn married Lori Olson on June 8, 1996 in Orem, Utah.
He worked many jobs, of all different trades.
Shawn enjoyed watching football (specifically the New Orleans Saints), gardening-he grew the best tomatoes in Syracuse, cooking, fishing, and golfing with his father and brothers; although his greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Shawn is survived by his wife, Lori Hardy; sons, Jered and Dylan Hardy; daughters, Ashley and Shontay Hardy; parents, Byron and Kaye Hardy of Orem; brothers, Mike Hardy of Syracuse, Jason Hardy of American Fork, and Jeremy Hardy of Brentwood, CA; sisters, Chris Plute of Mt Pleasant, Paula Covington of Orem, and Robin Hoffman of Draper.
No formal services will be held at this time.
