Sharon Patricia Lovato, 62, passed away unexpectedly early on Wednesday morning, June 18, 2025. She was born to Ben and Rosalee Herrera Valdez in Rock Springs, Wyoming, on January 30, 1963. She grew up in Rawlins, Wyoming, and graduated from Laramie High School.

She was a member of Jehovah’s Witness.

Sharon loved going on walks, sitting on the patio feeling the sun on her face, and especially spending time with her granddaughter and grandson.

Sharon is survived by her son, Santiago Ben Bustos; daughter, Lydia Bustos; and her grandson, Marquis Bustos; granddaughter, Sophia Jean Montoya; and her siblings, Gilbert (Mary) Lorraine Maestas Martinez (Joe – deceased), Alex Herman Maestas, and Sandra Marie (Charles) Martinez. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Manuel.

A family farewell will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
