Sharon Granato passed away in St. George, Utah on Wednesday November 26, 2025 at the age of 85.
She was born in Auburn, Wyoming on August 29, 1940 to Wells and Myrtle Steed Weaver. She was reared and educated in Auburn/Afton, Wyoming area for 16 years, then she lived in Salt Lake city, Utah for 44 years and for the last 25 years she lived in Mesquite, Nevada.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Sharon married Joe Granato in Las Vegas in 1963 and together they became business owners of the Joe Granato Produce Company where she was the bookkeeper for the company.
Sharon enjoyed bowling, doing home improvement projects, garage sales where she collected a lot of items, and taking care of her dogs.
Sharon is survived by her four children: Marty (Zelia) St. George, UT., Joey (Nancy) SLC, UT., Tracy Ann Shelton (Stephen) SLC, UT., Angela Mary Granato SLC, UT.; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; siblings, Garnetta, Jack, Claine and Claire.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe; brothers, Garr, Blair, Chad; and sisters, Beverly and Betty.
Funeral services will be held Saturday November 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E., Bountiful, Utah. Family and friends may visit Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the mortuary prior to the service.
Interment for Sharon will be held at the Auburn Wyoming Cemetery.
