Shane L. Boren

January 27, 1969 ~ August 25, 2022

Shane passed away peacefully with everyone he ever loved by his side on Thursday August 25th. Shane suffered from a massive heart attack brought on by his kidney disease he has been battling over the past few years. He was one of the good ones and anyone who had to opportunity to know him, would agree.

Shane grew up in West Haven, UT. He attended Roy High School. Shane and Monica were married July 27, 1991. Then later had two beautiful children.

Shane was loved & valued by so many. He always made an impact on all those around him & knew just what to say or how to put a smile on your face. Do good in the world, be the good in the world. That is who Shane was to all those around him. Bright, kind and sometimes a little too honest but he always meant well. Shane enjoyed spending time with his beautiful wife & family. He also enjoyed camping with friends & fishing with Trevor and Easton. Those of you who know Shane knows he was always up for a “good time”.

Our family is overwhelmed with gratitude for how much love + support we have been blessed with during this trying time.

Shane is survived by his beautiful wife and best friend, Monica Boren; children, Trevor Boren, Jordin Hunting & Brittnee Boren; son-in-law, Joshua Hunting; three grandchildren, that were his absolute pride and joy, Easton, Shanelle & Dallas; along with his beloved brother, Danny Boren. Shane is looking forward to his reunion with his Mother, Terri; brothers, Todd & Drew; sister, Nikki & granddaughter, Alexis.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday August 29, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 W. 5600 S.
