Listen to Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Shay Robinson, our beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend.

Shay was blessed to live her real life fairytale with the love of her life, Jon, and her five kids Titan (18), Kaden (15), Hannah (13), Maddi (11), and Kensi (5). Shay and Jon were married in the Salt Lake Temple on April 20th, 2006, after attending elementary, junior high, and high school together. They were high school sweethearts.

Shay's greatest joy was her family and her testimony that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are real, and they love us. Shay lived what she believed and served those she loved every day. Shay was blessed to most recently serve as Primary President in the Kanesville Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved and served these kids like they were her own. She was also blessed to serve the kids at Haven Bay Elementary as PTA President for the last year and a half. She wanted to be with the kids, laugh with them, and help them know they were cared for.

Shay believed doing the small and simple things in life like praying daily, studying the scriptures daily, and serving like Jesus did daily was how she could help the world be a more joyful and peaceful place. Those who knew her often stood in awe of her efforts to consistently love and serve those around her. Her smile, laugh, and kind heart will be missed, but her light still shines in those of us who became better because of her. We do not know why Heavenly Father called Shay home so soon, but we do know Heaven is better because she is there.

Shay is survived by her husband Jon Robinson, her kids Titan, Kaden, Hannah, Maddi, and Kensi, her parents Mark and Naleen Lee, her brothers Derek, Jordan, and Tayson, her grandma Claudia Opheikens, and her in-laws Alan and Julene Robinson.

Our promise to Shay is that we will strive to live, laugh, and love like she did with faith that we will be able to live again as a family forever. We love you, Shay!
