Segfredo I. Archuleta "Paul"
LAYTON a" Segfredo I. Archuleta, 79, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Davis Hospital and Medical Center.
He was born July 23, 1933 in Del Norte, Colorado the son of Jose E. and Angela Vigil Archuleta. Paul married Anita Chavez on October 27, 1952 in Del Norte, Colorado.
He served in the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Army and retired from the Air Force Reserves and Hill AFB.
Paul was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.
He loved fishing, hunting, working on his cars, his yard and the outdoors.
Surviving are his wife Anita, three daughters, Yolanda Thomas, Gulf Breeze, FL; Anna Archuleta, Oxnard, CA; Lisa (Michael) Bruner, Layton; granddaughter Amanda Griggs, great-granddaughter Marisa Griggs, brother Bernardo, three sisters, Eleanor, Frieda and Teddy all of Denver, CO.
Preceded in death by his brother Eppie and son-in-law George Thomas.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 So. Chapel Street, Layton. Friends may visit family Monday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
Interment, Utah Veteran''s Memorial Park on April 25, 2013 at 1 p.m.
The family would like to thank the staff at Davis Hospital and Medical Center, Dr. Harry Senekjian, neighbors and friends.
