Sandra Adams Smith

Sandra Adams Smith, of Kaysville, Utah Age 83 passed away on August 22, 2021 surrounded by her family.  Sandra was born on April 27, 1938 in Ogden Utah to Joseph B Adams and Ruby Mitchell.

Sandra went to Davis High School and then, with Scholarship in hand, went on to Brigham Young University.  Sandra worked for over thirty years in the medical field keeping financial records for Kaysville Medical Center.

Sandra’s later life passion was her involvement with the Madam Alexander Doll Company.  Her personal collection was beyond comparison.  She served on the board of directors as well as the Board’s President for three years.

Sandra’s happy place was her cabin. The most beautiful cabin tucked into the end of Christmas Meadows.  Since 1970 this cabin has been a labor of love for Sandra and Paul, expanded and remolded to become the one place on this earth that they spent so many happy days together.

Sandra and Paul were married July 3, 1958.  They are truly soul mates.  For 63 years they have loved each other, raised a family, traveled the world, and loved and supported each other every day for all of those years

Sandra was preceded in death by her father Joe Adams, her two mothers Ruby Mitchell and Leah Adams, her granddaughter Savannah Smith and her brother Steven Adams.

Sandra is survived by her husband Paul Smith, two children Roxanne Duennebeil, Scott Smith, and her grandkids Nicholas Smith, Skylar Smith, Madison Smith, Ryan Duennebeil, and Jace Duennebeil.

Funeral Services will be held Friday August 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah.  Friends may visit with family Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and also Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
