Sandra Gay Bushnell Ziegenhirt, 81, passed away May 9, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Sandra was born February 4, 1944, in Moroni, Utah, to her father, Shirley and her mother, Choline Christensen Brotherson.

Sandra married her first husband, Kenneth Bushnell, on May 20, 1961, and continued to share their lives together with their son, Troy and daughter, Dorie until Kenneth’s passing in 1982. Later, she married her current husband, Ralph Ziegenhirt and brought two stepsons, Paul and Chad Houston, into her life.

Sandra retired from Chromalox Manufacturing after 28 years.

She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

In the spring, she enjoyed planting and gardening. A true animal lover, Sandra cherished her many pets --- including cats, dogs, and birds. She treasured spending time with her family and grandchildren, especially during lunch and brunch dates, shopping trips, and visits to Hallmark stores. Known for her selfless nature, Sandra was always eager to help those in need.
