Samuel Clifton Wilde

August 17, 1998 — April 17, 2023

Samuel was born March 17, 1998 in the Davis County Hospital with a full head of hair.  He was a good baby, hardly ever fussed and was always smiling.  He roamed the large linoleum kitchen floor in his baby roller, trying to catch Sarah playing with her 101 dalmatian dogs.

The family moved to Las Vegas the next year.  Samuel spent those hot days playing in pools, running through sprinklers with squirt guns and laughing with cousins.  This is where his affinity for Ketchup began, he insisted it be on everything he ate, it was on everything from Pancakes to Macaroni and Cheese and even Cinnamon \Rolls.

Samuel moved back to Kaysville two years later to the home he would spend the majority of his life in.

There he started school at Windridge Elementary and forged friendships that will last forever, and also got a couple of  “Wolf Tickets,” one for scratching his name into the boys bathroom mirror, not too smart to scratch your own name.  Middle school came next at Kaysville Jr. High School, the year of Skateboards. Boarding was LIFE.  His skateboard infatuation continued into high school at Davis High.  After a couple of concussions, he finally went for it down a giant hill and broke his wrist so bad  a doctor form Southern Utah had to be flown in to operate.  After a metal plate and some screws, he would claim to be part robot.

Samuel moved around some after high school and ended up living in Logan, Utah with some friends.

Samuel loved plants, any trip to any store that had a garden center, we were coming home with a plant or two.  He also had a couple of Bonsai trees that he shaped and clipped and took care of.

Samuel had the ability to Love everyone, make them smile and laugh, make them feel comfortable and loved.  He had a heart as big as a Bathtub.  We Love You Forever Sambo.
