Ruth A. Opheikens Crouch

LAYTON a€" Ruth A. Opheikens Crouch, 82, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at her home.

She was born January 13, 1930 in Ogden, Utah the daughter of Bert and Elizabeth A. Heigh Opheikens. Ruth married Harold Crouch in Elko, Nevada. He preceded her in death on September 20, 2000.

Ruth enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. She loved working in her garden and going on the Fun Bus with her friends.

Surviving are her two daughters, Connie (Dennis) Helms, TX; Linda Draper, AZ, daughter-in-law, Arlene Smith, Clearfield; one brother, Doug, three sisters, Phillis, Paula, and Kathy, 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Harold, parents, son, David, son-in-law, Steve, brothers, Ken, Dick, Donnie and sister, Betty.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to services at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road
