Rudolph Senczyszyn, a dedicated father, loving grandfather, and cherished great-grandfather, passed away on November 22,2024, in Ogden, Utah. Born on October 25, 1929, in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, he lived a life full of adventure, love, and service to his country.
Rudolph was a proud alumnus of the University of Michigan, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree degree in Civil Engineering in 1958. He was very proud of the fact that he developed a cooling system for the San Onofre nuclear power plant in San Juan Capistrano that saved millions of fish. His strong educational foundation was complemented by his notable military service; he served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, showcasing his commitment to his country and fellow citizens.
In addition to his academic and military achievements, Rudolph had a zest for life that was reflected in his many hobbies and interests. He enjoyed playing tennis, dancing, running, and horseshoes. His adventurous spirit also led him to embrace motocross, while his love for literature was evident through his passion for reading. He loved cars, he spent countless hours working on them and restoring cars. Rudolph’s enthusiasm and vivacity brought joy not only to his life but to all those who knew him.
Rudolph leaves behind a loving family who will deeply miss his presence. He is survived by his son, Michael Senczyszyn, and his daughter, Linda Lee Stalter. His legacy continues through his five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of his spirit within them.
Rudolph now rejoins his beloved parents and fifteen siblings, who predeceased him. His contributions to his family and community will be remembered fondly, and the values he instilled in his loved ones will live on. As we celebrate his life, we honor the moments shared and the legacy he leaves behind.
Rudolph will have a memorial service and Military Honors at the Camp William Cemetery.
