Rose Tressa Toson Orrell passed away February 10, 2012. She was the youngest of 10 children, born on November 29, 1918 in Delagua, Colorado, a daughter of Giovani John Toson and Caterina Lucia Zuccolotto. She married Harold Orrell in Elko, Nevada in December of 1948.

Rose spent most of her life in the Helper and Ogden areas, but has lived in Salt Lake City and Sandy the last 14 years of her life.

She worked for the Price telephone company and as a tax specialist for the IRS in Ogden until she retired. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and Eastern Stars. A beautiful seamstress, she also enjoyed crocheting and ceramic craft painting.

She is survived by daughter Kathy Briggs (Dean) Sandy, UT; 3 grandsons Steven Midvale, UT; Jason (Kristen) Bixby, OK; Jordan Sandy, UT and granddaughter-in-law Tamarine; 5 great-grandchildren Rebecca, Brandon, Tressa, Corbin and Xander along with many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Harold Orrell, infant son Harold Orrell Jr., 3 brothers and 6 sisters.

Graveside services will be held 12:00 noon Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Mt. View Cemetery in Helper. Friends may visit family on Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary 727 N. 400 E. Condolences may be shared at www.lindquistmortuary.com
