Rosalinda Toscano Zamora of Ogden, UT, passed away on May 30, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was a beloved wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Rosa was born on November 19, 1958, in Muleshoe, Texas, to Salvador Perez and Guadalupe Daniel Toscano.
She married Valente Zamora on November 10, 2012. Rosa was loved by many and welcomed all with open arms. Those closest to her knew her best as Mommy Ocha or Mom. She loved, not only just her own children, but many others throughout her life providing a special hand in raising and caring for all those in need.
Rosa is survived by her husband, Valente Zamora; five children, Eva Pearson, Maria (Daniel) Boring, Mariselda Rabe, Rosalinda (Gerardo) Flores, and Raymundo Zamora;
ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild; her loving father, Salvador Perez Toscano; four sisters, three brothers, and very special nephews, Eleazar “Bubu”, Joel “JJ” Balderrama and Daniel Toscano.
Rosa was preceded in death by her mother, the matriarch of the family, Guadalupe Daniel Toscano. She has gone to see her again in the heavens above.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
