Rosalie Bunner passed away surrounded by her loved ones on February 18, 2026, at McKay-Dee Hospital. Born on December 10, 1946, in Kaysville to Thomas and Cleo Ramage. Rosalie spent her entire life in Utah. She graduated from Davis High School in 1965, married Newell Eschler in 1966, and then raised seven children. She remarried Dave Bunner in 1989 and began raising six more children that she loved as her own, and Dave loved her seven like his own as well.
Rosalie was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had many callings. She enjoyed being in the service of others and understood all walks of life. She was committed to raising her 13 children and helping them through the many challenges life has. She loved gardening and many crafts. She was a wonderful baker, and her rolls and desserts were the best and will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by one great-grandchild; Travis Leavell; a son-in-law, Gavin Writer; both her parents, and her brother, Thomas Ramage. She was also preceded in death by her ex-husband, Newell Karl Eschler; and her 2nd husband, Dave Gilbert Bunner.
Rosalie is survived by her 13 children, Kimberly (Scott) Elliott, Rose Writer, Bonnie (Erik) Clark, James (Emily) Eschler, Joseph (Cynthia) Eschler, Sally Kelley, Jacob (Julynn) Eschler, Dave Bunner Jr., Johannes Bunner, Tanya (Tony) Murphy, Jamie Bunner, Isabell (Lance) Molgard, Lara Bunner; 33 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; and her two brothers, Kenneth and William Ramage.

The sun shined a little brighter today
Thanks to help from Rosalie.
She was called back home by her father
to be closer to the ones that were lost along the way
The air smelled a little sweeter and we all knew the reason why
Rosalie is still with us Just somewhere in the sky
Don’t hang your head in sorrow
Keep your chin up and be proud.
And when you miss her the most,
You’ll find her
watching over you.
From the clouds....
James Eschler..
