Ron graduated from Weber College and began working at Hill Air Force Base, where he dedicated his career until retiring in 1996. He is survived by his sister Kathleen Overton, brother Michael (Carol) Stoker, and brother-in-law Ray Christensen, along with 12 nieces and nephews: Kimberly (Gary) Jesperson, Pamela Batson, Michelle (Kevin) Willis, Kent (Dudley) Overton, Nikki (Billy) Schellhas, Carrie (Dave) Williams, Jeff (Cindy) Stoker, Matt (Paige) Stoker, Amanda Stoker, Troy (Tom) Christensen, Misty (Ryan) Raasch, and Heather (Kyle) Rodeback.

Ron also held a very special place in the hearts of his great-niece Jacqulyn (Neil) Barrio and their children, Adeline and Owen, who brought him immense joy in his later years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin and Margaret Stoker; sister Shelagh Christensen; nephews Kevin and Ryan Christensen; and brother-in-law James Overton.
