Ronald Miles Hart

Ronald (Ron) Miles Hart of Hooper passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Heritage Park in Roy. He was born September 4, 1946, to Al and Gwen (Hopkins) Hart and was the second child of four. 

In July of 1967, Ron married Gloria Jean Call. Together they had five daughters, Donna Hart of Hooper; Kaaren Browning of Craig, MO.; Sue Colgate of Ogden; Sarah Gould of Ogden; and Rachel Nebon of Tremonton.

He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1965-1968. He did his training at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. He had been stationed at Malmstrom Air Force Base outside of Great Falls, Montana and he later worked at Hill Air Force Base in Utah.

After his retirement he spent his time volunteering with the Hooper 4H equestrians. He also enjoyed doing leather and woodworking. Along with helping his wife and daughters with care of their cows, horses, and dogs. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Marcia, and father-in-law, Jack Call. 

Ron is survived by his wife, Gloria; siblings, Roger Hart and Donna Corbett-Lewis; daughters, Donna Hart, Kaaren Browning, Sue (Pat) Colgate, Sarah (Justin) Gould, and Rachel (Matt) Nebon; grandchildren, Emilie Hart and Kody Browning, Haley (Sam) Kottler, Titus, Taylah, and Avacyn Gould; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Wasatch Cowboy Church, 5603 South 6700 West, Hooper. The family will meet with friends at 10:30 a.m. at the church. 

Interment, Hooper Cemetery. 

A luncheon will follow the services.
