RoJean Hayes Kearns passed away peacefully July 7, 2022 in Phoenix, Arizona where she lived for 37 years, she was 82 years young. She was born in Ogden, Utah, March 25, 1940 to John Henry Hayes and Laura Josephine Olsen.

 

She married W. Keith Marsh with whom she had two wonderful children Becky and Steven. That union ended in divorce. In 1974 she married the love of her life Dr. Grant F. Kearns with whom she spent 21 years traveling and enjoying life.

 

RoJean is survived by her daughter, Becky Lu (Mark) Johnson; son, Steven Keith (Cindi) Marsh and her stepchildren, Judy (Dennis) Wilson, Karen (Scott) Fronk, and Mike (Rachelle) Kearns; 12 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Grant Franklin Hayes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Grant F. Kearns; brothers, Carl John Hayes and Kent Hayes and daughter-in-law, Judy Marsh.

 

RoJean had a successful career in Real Estate, and managing luxury apartments in Scottsdale AZ, retiring in 2007. History was an integral part of her life. She received her 50 year pin for her membership in Utah Daughters of Pioneers just this year.

 

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd., South Ogden, Utah
