Robert Wahlen

Robert Bruce Wahlen, 59, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. Robert “Bob” was born to Robert Frank and Annabel Marriott Wahlen on December 28, 1965 in Ogden Utah. He grew up in Ogden and graduated from Ben Lomond High School.

Robert married Deborah Laffarga in June of 1988 and together they had one son, Dustin. They later divorced. On June 8, 2003, he married Cindy Lyn Pritchett and became a wonderful stepfather to her son Skyler Meyer. Together they had one daughter, Savanah.

Robert worked for Pioneer and later Pioneer Overhead Doors and eventually began his own business and was so well liked by his customers.

Robert enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He loved bowling, golfing, listening to country music, and spending time barbecuing with his family. Some of his favorite memories were trips to the Oregon Coast where he could be found playing in the waves with his children. He especially cherished time with his granddaughter and delighted in taking her to the park. Although he had hoped to spend more time camping and fishing in recent years, his greatest joy was always being with the people he loved.

Robert is survived by his wife, Cindy; his son, Dustin Wahlen; daughter, Savanah Wahlen; two beautiful granddaughters, Amelia and Sage; and siblings, John Talbot, Fleurette (Dennis) Martinez, Debbie Williams, Tammy Tedford and Linda Zuech; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ann and Bob Wahlen; his sister, Pam Valentine; and his brother-in-law, Brent Williams.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd. A private family service will follow at the Rolling Hills Ward.

The family would like to thank the Bishop and Relief Society of the Ward for their love and support.
