ROBERT CLARK MOSS Robert C. Moss (Bob) age 58, passed away in his sleep on December 10, leaving us as unobtrusively and esoterically as he lived. He was born on October 5, 1953, and leaves behind his parents, Robert E. and Cleo R. Moss; three sisters: Linda M. Hill, Diane M. Hawkes and Julie Moss; seven nieces and nephews; and a diverse group of friends and fans. A Utah legend, Bob was dedicated to his distinctive art; an eclectic blend of wood-burning, collage, acrylics and the Deseret Alphabet. Bob loved folk music and with his banjo or beat-up guitar, made any song he played or sang his own. A celebration of Bob Mosses’ life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at the Visual Art Institute, 2901 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City. There will never be another person like Bob Moss--he was completely unique in personality, selflessness and artistic beauty. You are greatly loved and will be sorely missed. Instead of flowers, remember that the art of happiness is to serve all, and lend a helping hand to someone in need, or send a hand-written letter to someone you love.
