Richard A Bosley

Richard Abbott Bosley, 97, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024 in West Haven, Utah.  

He was born September 23, 1926 in Westernport, Maryland to Eleanor P. Riggleman and Charles W. Bosley. He was the youngest of seven children, all of whom preceded him in death. 

Richard was a WWII Navy Veteran who was fortunate to be in Tokyo Bay to watch the signing of the Peace Treaty. 

He retired from Hill Air Force Base. 

On April 11, 1947, Richard married Elmeda June Castle in Barton, Maryland. She preceded him in death on September 20, 2020. 

He is survived by their three children, Eleanor Kay (Lee, deceased) Clark, Richard Bruce (Diane) Bosley and Timothy Shane Bosley. He had seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to acknowledge the excellent and compassionate care given to Richard by the Elevation Hospice team of JaCoy, Danny, Cindy and MaryAnn, as well as the staff at Lotus Park Care Center. 

As per Richard’s request there will be no formal services. Cremation entrusted to Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary.
