Richard passed away on Feb. 3 2024 at his home in Centerville, Utah. With his constant companion & Soulmate, Janice, by his side & he was surrounded by his loving family, as always.
Richard was the son of Alfonso and Francis (Briski) Berriochoa. He was born in Shoshone Idaho on Sept. 17 1934, but raised in “Park”, as it was known by the locals. He lived a great life of 89 years.
He loved “Park” & always called it home, even after he moved to Layton, Utah, to start his family. Richard and Janice had 3 children, Ricky, Roby & Jill. He worked at and retired from Hill AFB after 38 years. He loved to coach little league Baseball, Football and Basketball, for Layton City. He loved every minute & the kids loved him as their Coach. He was also known in the family as the “kissing & hugging Uncle” whether they liked it or not.
Richard is survived by his loving wife Janice, his son Rick, daughter Jill, sister Nina (Virginia), six Grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his son Roby, brother’s Hank, Earnest (Stub), Victor, Bob and sister Julie (Krizman).
