Rhea June Tucker Kilfoyle Rose Ledingham

February 19, 1937 — October 22, 2024

Rhea June Tucker Kilfoyle Rose Ledingham passed away peacefully with her children by her side on October 22, 2024, at The Legacy House Assisted Living in Farmington, Utah. She fell on Saturday and broke her pelvis and never recovered.

She was born on February 19, 1937, to Kirtley Elwood Tucker and Erma Minerva Jorgensen Tucker. She was born in Clawson, Utah and lived there until she was five years old and then moved to Kaysville, Utah where she spent most of her life. She also lived in Layton and St. George and then back to Kaysville.

She graduated from Davis High School in 1955. She was proposed to on graduation night to Paul Kent Kilfoyle and was married on July 11, 1956, in the Logan, Utah temple. They had two children, Michael Kaye and Carri.

Rhea was married to Paul for 15 years when he died in a tragic accident at his job for the State roads at the age of 35. She raised two children by herself for two years. She remarried Doug Rose in 1973 and were married for 36 years until his death in 2010. She was then remarried to George Ledingham. They were married for five years and were later divorced.

Rhea worked at HAFB for two years in the Personnel department. She loved her job at the Davis High Seminary where she worked as a secretary for 16 years. She was very efficient at her job and was very organized and everyone loved her.

She held many callings in the LDS church. She was a member of the Kaysville Jay C’s for many years. She loved to sew, hike, and could make something out of nothing and loved to ride her scooter. She sewed so many of her children’s clothes when they were little. She made 100 little girl dresses for the Humanitarian Center, which she absolutely loved doing. She loved taking care of people and giving service to others and was loved by so many. Her greatest love was her two children, and we will miss her so much. She will always be in our hearts forever.
