"Mahpiya Hota" Grey Cloud Rex has left to the spirit world. He had a massive stroke which caused complications with his kidneys and poor circulation. He has lived in Columbus, Ohio; Welch, Minnesota; Ogden, Utah; and Las Vegas, Nevada. He attended Ben Lomond High School in Ogden. While in Welch Minnesota he married Janice Lucille Wells on October 15, 1990. They were divorced in 2005.

He was a security guard at the Treasure Island Resort and Casino in Welch, Minnesota. He enjoyed collecting coins and fishing, but most of all the Pow Wows.

Rex is survived by his son, Ceton Zi; daughter, Anmpe Duta Wi; brothers, Merle (Susan Hammon) Sully, Layton; and Gene Sully, Columbus, Ohio; and sisters, Caroline Sully and Sandra Sully Howe, both of Roy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Merle and Elsa Vanderstappen Sully; grandparents; nephew, Henry "Buddy" Howe III; and brother-in-law, Henry Howe, Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
