Randy James Nelson

Randy James Nelson passed away surrounded by family on January 18, 2024 after a five-year battle with cancer.

 Randy was born at St. Marks Hospital on November 22, 1954 to parents Merlin and Carma Nelson, he was oldest of four children, Keith, Merlyn and Reid.

 He married Sue Thomas and had a son Chris. Later he married Paula Rousseau and they had a daughter Courtni and son Peter.

 Randy loved his sports.  He was a huge fan of the San Francisco 49ers.  Let’s hope they make it to the Super Bowl this year! It was always a joy to him.  He loved playing soccer as well and was always playing in the backyard with the grandkids, showing off his dribbling skills.

 Randy is survived by son Christopher James Nelson (Peral), daughter Courtni Ann (Shaun), son Peter Matthew Nelson (Brynn), and five grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents Merlin and Carma and he missed them immensely.

 We will have a Celebration of Life when the weather warms up.
