Ralph DeVon Bohn passed away peacefully at his home in Clearfield, Utah early on Monday, March 25, 2024. At the age of 91, he reunited with his parents, siblings, and friends who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Karon Reber Bohn, his three children, Brent Bohn (Louise), D. Scott Bohn (Connie), and Michelle Bohn, as well as 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

DeVon was born in Beaver, Utah to Marietta Nowers and Ralph Byron Bohn on June 25, 1932. He graduated from Beaver High School with the Class of 1950. As a young man, he joined the 180th Naval Squadron and served on the U.S.S. Manchester during the Korean War. Shortly after returning home, he met and married Karon in St. George after winning her heart with an orange soda pop.

The pair settled in Clearfield, UT where DeVon pursued a 30-year career with Mountain Bell Phone Company, known today as AT&T, and raised their three beloved children. He proudly served as Vice President for The Wasatch Club of the Utah Council of Telephone Pioneers and in various callings within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He loved the scouting program. He earned an Eagle Scout award and volunteered as an adult leader for many years.

As a lover of the outdoors, he spent many hours outside with his family, tending his garden, fishing, camping, hunting, and telling stories on the porch.

DeVon was a talented craftsman who could fix anything and built many pieces of furniture from his garage woodshop. DeVon had a soft spot for sweets. His grandchildren could always find a treat in the stash by his chair.

The family would like to thank Intermountain Hospice for the care they provided during his decline.
