Rae Lynn Mckowen

Rae Lynn Carter McKowen May 30, 1957 – July 27, 2025

Rae Lynn was a devoted daughter, loving wife, proud mother, adoring sister, cherished grandma and great-grandma, and a loyal friend. Her happiest moments were spent surrounded by family—with a crochet hook in hand and grandkids at her side. She loved sunshine, flip flops, and fishing—especially while camping out at the lot in Manila or relaxing on a boat in Flaming Gorge.

She is survived by her parents, John and Joyce Carter; siblings, Jo (Rod), Butch (Susie), and Mike (Kelli); her husband, Lonnie McKowen; her children, Jason Devereaux (Valerie), Sandy Devereaux (Monica), Teri Kynaston (Trent), Keri Nelson (Richard), Molly Wabel (Will), Jennifer Jones, and Amanda McKowen; and her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Rae Lynn was preceded in death by her siblings Jon Scott Carter and Julie Bost.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E., with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. All who knew and loved Rae Lynn are welcome to attend.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
