Phillip Todd Pay, born May 2, 1971 passed away unexpectedly on December 2, 2024.
Phillip graduated from Clearfield High School in 1989, he was on the soccer team and in theater. He served a 2 year mission in Norway for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He loved Norway, the people he served and served with and Norwegian food.
Phillip could do anything. He taught himself to work with leather, played the piano and guitar, was an amazing fisherman, and a culinary genius. He loved with his whole heart and made so many lifelong friends during his short time on earth.
Phillip loved his children and was excited to gain another son when he married his best friend and favorite person, Kassie, for time and all eternity on June 6, 2015. He liked to say they met “the old fashion way… online”.
Phillip held many church callings, most recently as Activity Days Leader with Kassie as his partner. They loved the hectic nights spent with the wonderful young boys they taught.
Phillip was a champion napper, an expert fisherman and lover of dad jokes and corny T-shirts, but his favorite thing to do was spend time with his family and play with the grandkids.
Survived by his wife Kassie, children Erik (Alicia) Hensley, Amanda (Mitchell) Stratton, Kelsie Hensley (Justin Manning), Mackenzie (Zach) Ringle, Sidney (Mark) Gatus and Thaine Sannar (Kristen Walters), father Bert Pay, sisters Tracy (Cory) Lamb, Trudy (Bob) Roe, Jennifer (Jacob) McMillian and Cynthia (Kyle) Sole, in-laws, Mike and Tammy Nuzzolo, Justin Mark, Nicole (Bruce) Gulso, and Jonathan Nuzzolo, dearest friends Matt, Kari, Mike and Michelle, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his mom, Ila Pay and daughter, Brylee Grace Pay.
If it all falls apart
I will know deep in my heart
The only dream that mattered had come true
In this life, I was loved by you.
