Perry Alan Rogers

January 31, 1967 — June 13, 2025

Perry Alan Rogers passed away on June 13, 2025, at the age of 58. Born on January 31, 1967, the son of Clarence Theodore and Edna Mae Carey Rogers. Perry lived a life full of joy and laughter, leaving an indelible mark on those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Perry received his education at Ben Lomond High School, where he showcased his athletic abilities by playing football, baseball and javelin throwing on the track team. He continued his education and earned a Welding Certification, which enabled him to embark on a fulfilling career at HHI Corporation. He was a skilled welder and fabricator, which showed in his completed projects.

Perry had an extremely strong work ethic; he was always a hard worker. He passed this trait on to his 3 daughters.

Perry married the love of his life, Dana Lisa Sidwell on November 28, 1987, in Ogden, Utah. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple. Perry was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings including with the Primary and Young Men’s.

One of Perry’s proudest accomplishments was his talent as a drummer, which allowed him to share his love for music with those around him. He loved the band Rush, which included his hero and favorite drummer, Neil Peart. He also found great joy in riding motorcycles, embracing the sense of freedom that came with the open road, often with Dana riding along. He shared this love with his daughter, Carissa, who is now a motorcyclist herself.

Perry’s adventurous spirit shone through in his numerous hobbies and interests; he loved his guns, he was an avid outdoorsman, finding peace and enjoyment in hunting, fishing, and target shooting, which he did often with his family. His love for boating and camping reflected his appreciation for nature and the great outdoors. Additionally, Perry had a passion for woodworking, where he expressed his creativity and craftsmanship, much to the delight of family and friends.

Perry’s greatest joy was always being around family. His strong ties to his loved ones made every moment spent together a cherished memory. Although he wasn’t a man of many words, his family always knew of the love and dedication that he had for them. Perry was known for his goofy and silly personality, always ready with a joke or a light-hearted remark that could brighten and tease those around him. His good sense of humor was evident even when faced with tremendous pain. Although he endured many trials in this life, he never complained, he always tried to stay positive and silly, which was one of his greatest attributes.

Perry is survived by his wife, Dana Lisa Rogers; his daughters, Paige Rogers, Carissa Rogers (Cody Frew) and Courtney Rogers; grandson, KC Rogers; his siblings, Murray (Joyce) Rogers, Melissa (Rod) Rasmussen, Yvonne (Mike) Wayment and Kelly Rogers.
