Peggy Flamm

Peggy Marble Flamm, age 88, passed away on Monday May 9th, 2016 of causes incident to age. She was born Sept 28, 1927 in Tremonton Utah to Silas LaRain Marble and Maggie Rampton Marble. Peggy married Lowell Stauffer Flamm on March 5, 1948 in the Logan Utah LDS Temple. Together they are the parents of 4 children. Peggy and Lowell made their home in the San Francisco bay area and later in Pleasant View, UT.

Peggy graduated from Utah State University in Home Economics followed by a Masters degree from San Francisco State University in Home Economics and Counseling/Psychology. She was associated with Tri Delta Sorority while in Logan. Peggy retired from a 35 year career in California School Administration as a teacher, dean, vice‐principal, principal, and counselor which was her favorite.

As a member of the LDS church she served in many capacities throughout her life and valued her strong testimony.

Peggy is survived by sons Kevin (Brenda) Flamm, Kaysville, UT; Curtis (Larae) Flamm, Vancouver, WA, daughters Deborah Kurpjuweit (Kim), Morrow Bay, CA; and Kathryn (Russ) Howard, Roseburg, OR; 20 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; Brother Vern Marble, Davis, CA.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lowell and her daughter-in-law Kay Winkelman Flamm.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 North Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Saturday from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Brigham City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to the LDS Church Perpetual Education Fund.
