Pearl Nadine Sixkiller Ewing

Pearl passed away peacefully on October 14,2023. She was born August 16,1948 to Ruben and Lena Sixkiller in Fort Duchesne Utah. She grew up on the Uintah and Ourray Indian Reservation with her 10 siblings.

After college, Pearl went to work for International Business Machines Corp. (IBM). She worked as a main computer program trainer. She oversaw training in the western United States field for 23 years. She married her best friend, Charles "Chuck" Ewing on October 4, 1980 in Salt Lake City Utah. Together they lived in Bountiful and had just celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary.

Pearl is preceded in death by her parents Ruben and Lena Sixkiller, siblings Mary Sixkiller, Denver Sixkiller, Judy Mojado, Walt Sixkiller, Ruben "Rang" Sixkiller, Kathleen "Deedle" Olsen & nephew Joshua Yazzie.

She is survived by her husband Charles "Chuck" Ewing of Bountiful UT, children: Anthony (Shannon) Hanson of Stansbury UT and Stacie (Vinny) Gillespie of Eagle Mountain UT, 6; grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter; siblings: Henry Sixkiller of Indian Bench UT, Jack Sixkiller of Roosevelt UT, Joan (Robert) Yazzie of Fort Duchesne UT and Marie Gardner of Vernal UT as well as many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
 

 A viewing will be held on Thursday October 19, 2023 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary located at 727 N 400 E, Bountiful, UT from 6:00-8:00 pm. A second viewing will be held Friday October 20, 2023 at Lindquist’s from 9:30-10:30am, prior to the service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at the Bountiful City Cemetery located at 2224 S 200 W Bountiful, UT.  Afterwards, a luncheon will be provided.
