Paysley Boothe

October 17, 2008 — July 5, 2022

Paysley was born October 17, 2008, in West Jordan Utah. Our beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, and friend Paysley Boothe passed away July 5, 2022, surrounded by her mother and Father Sam and Thecia Boothe, Sister Primrose and Brother Hunter.

Paysley was born with a broken heart, but she came with a zeal for life and a fighting spirit. Being born with a hypoplastic right heart (half a heart); as a result, she experienced life overcoming many health challenges including cancer at 12 years old. Paysley faced each challenge with grace and fortitude and a great desire to overcome every health issue placed in her life’s journey.

Paysley had a deep love for life, she was always ready for a new adventure. She loved spending time in the out-of-doors with her family. She loved her family, horses, dogs, fishing, grandpa’s boat, swimming, baby’s, shopping, Starbuck’s, butterflies, sun flowers, and her cat Blue. She loved playing with her cousins, aunts, and uncles.

In spite of her significant health issues, Paysley defied each one and was kind and loving with all those who rendered her aid. Paysley’s second home was Primary Children’s Hospital. With her mother and Father by her side they conquered many hard health trials. Paysley always received exceptional care and many “wonderful miracles” were realized throughout her life. Paysley’s parents wish to express their love and gratitude for the many doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals who took such amazing care of their angel daughter.

Paysley is survived by her father Steven Samuel (Sam), mother Thecia Haroldsen, brother Steven Hunter (Hunter), and sister Primrose Boothe. Grandparents Jess and Judy Haroldsen, and Steven and Kimberly Boothe. Many family members and friends who loved and supported her.
