Patricia Lucille Stromberg

Patricia Lucille Stromberg a lifelong resident of Ogden, Utah, passed away peacefully at her home on June 2, 2025, at the age of 81.

Pat was born on December 28, 1943, in Ogden, Utah, to the late Joseph Blaine and Lucille Ernestine Stromberg.

She dedicated over 50 years of her life to her work at Claire A. Nielson and Oc., where she was known for her loyalty and strong work ethic. Outside of work, Pat was best known for her generous spirit, sense of humor, and deep love of dogs—especially her beloved companion, Sophie. She had a gift for picking out the funniest greeting cards and always knew just how to make someone smile. Her homemade rolls and memorable Thanksgiving dinners were family favorites.

A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Pat lived a life of quiet kindness and love for Jesus Christ. She cherished her parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. She found joy in traveling especially on trips to California, Yellowstone, and Jackosn Hole with her sister Eunice and nieces. Pat and Eunice shared a special bond and were known for their laughter and constant giggling, creating cherished memories together. She also loved spending time playing games with family, especially Yahtzee, which was one of her favorite pastimes.

Pat is survived by her cherished dog, Sophie; one loving brother, Joseph (Linda) Stromberg; four nephews; and seven nieces. She was preceded in death by her brother, Blaine Ray Stomberg; her sister, Eunice Ernestine Young; and her parents, Joseph Blaine and Lucille Ernestine Stromberg.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all of Pat’s caregivers and over the years especially her niece, LaRae and her special friend, Terry.

Pat’s life was one of quiet dignity, devotion, and love. She will be missed.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.
