Patricia Ann Pickett Stanger, 87, of Ogden, Utah passed into the arms of her beloved Savior on May 29, 2022.

Patricia was born on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 1935. She was the ninth of ten children, born in Chula, MO, to Ethel Marie and Earl Conrad Pickett. Her family relocated to Utah where she resided until her death.

On December 8, 1954, she met and married the love of her life, James Fredrick Stanger. Together they had six children. Mom stayed at the home to raise the children and provide a warm, safe place for her family. When the children were raised, she worked at the Utah State Motor Vehicle Division, where she retired.

Patricia is survived by her six children, James Scott (Joyce) Stanger, Craig Frederick Stanger, Luanne Stanger, Rick Gene Stanger, Danette Hartz, and Olivia (Kurt) Musgrave; 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; her nine siblings, and her granddaughter, Tasha.

Family and friends are welcome to join us to celebrate Patricia’s life at a graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary. Following the services there will be a luncheon served at Washington Heights Church, 1770 East 6200 South, South Ogden.

In lieu of flowers, Mom has requested any donations be made to The Shriner’s Hospital or Primary Children’s Medical Center.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Fairfield Assisted Living Center, Specialty Nursing Services and Inspiration Hospice. The staff loved our mother and gave her exceptional care. The devotion to her and the family will always be cherished and remembered.
