Pamala Hall Spencer

Pamala Hall Spencer, beloved wife of William “Bill” Spencer, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025, in South Ogden, Utah, at the age of 75. Born on June 13, 1950, in Tremonton, Utah, to Arch O. Hall and Helen Burns Hall, Pam was known for her warmth, humor, and unwavering devotion to the people she loved.

Pam grew up surrounded by her cherished brothers and sisters, forming deep bonds that shaped her life. She graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1968 and remained close to her high school friends, treasuring those lifeline relationships and the memories they made along the way.

On June 24, 1969, she married her sweetheart, Bill, beginning a beautiful 55-year journey filled with love, laughter, and countless adventures. Together they enjoyed going to their cabin on weekends, snowmobiling, camping, razor riding, and boating. Their marriage was a true testament to enduring love and inspired all who knew them.

Pam was a devoted mother to her two children, SharRee (Kevin) Thomas and Mitch (Shamra) Spencer. Her grandchildren were one of her greatest joys and she cherished them, always going out of her way to maintain a special relationship with each one - Dax (Ashtyn) Lowe, Nick Lowe, Brie Spencer, Mason Lowe, and Brody Spencer. The recent arrival of her great-granddaughter, Sawyer Lowe, brought her such happiness this past year.

Pam devoted many years to the banking industry, rising up through the ranks to serve as a Vice President at a local credit union and later at Zions Bank before her retirement. She was respected for her work ethic, professionalism, and friendly spirit.

Pam had a passion for shopping, never passing up a “lunch and shopping” date and could happily browse stores for hours to find treasures and good deals, only going home after filling her car to the brim. She loved hosting gatherings for any occasion, never wanting to miss out on the fun. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was always up for anything as long as it meant being with those she loved. She adored her friends, siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins but especially her children, grandchildren, and her great-granddaughter, each holding a special place in her heart.

Pam loved music and always had it playing in their home. She enjoyed a good card game and great food particularly cookies often joking that “broken cookies have no calories.” She loved her early morning coffee, often reheating the same cup over and over, only to forget it in the microwave and find it the next day.

Pam took tremendous pride in her home, decorating it to perfection and keeping every corner spotless. Christmas was her absolute favorite time of year; not an inch of her home went without festive cheer. She wrapped every Christmas present with meticulous detail and delighted in watching her family’s reaction as they opened their gifts.

Her nurturing nature, listening ear, and unwavering support made her a treasured presence in the lives of all who knew her. Her love, laughter, and bright spirit will live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, November30, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah.
