Oscar Arnoldo Palacios

August 1, 1970 — July 13, 2023

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Oscar Arnoldo Palacios, who peacefully left this world on July 13, 2023, at the age of 52. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends at the time of his passing.

Oscar was born on August 1, 1970, in a small town, La Union, El Salvador, that he always cherished. He was the son of Martin Artica and Cayetana Palacios, who instilled in him the values of hard work, compassion, and kindness that would define his life.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Oscar leaves behind a legacy of love, and devotion for God.

He married Teresa Madrigal, in 1995. They shared 17 years of marriage and divorced in the year 2012. Oscar remarried in 2013 to Glenda Deras. They shared a decade of a strong and loving marriage. Together, they raised their five children, David, Jonathan, Mariana, Emy, and Catherine, whom he loved and supported unconditionally.

Oscar had an unwavering dedication to God and was well-respected in the churches he attended. He served the Lord for 31 years.

An avid enthusiast for the outdoors, Oscar loved going to the park, fishing, and being on a beach with his family and friends. These memories will forever be treasured and cherished.

In the hearts of his family and friends, Oscar will forever be remembered for his infectious laughter, warm smile, and generous spirit. His positive influence on the lives of those around him was immeasurable, and his memory will live on in the stories shared by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Oscar Arnoldo Palacios is survived by his devoted wife, Glenda; his children, David Palacios, Jonathan Palacios, Mariana Palacios, Emy Palacios, and Catherine Palacios; and his grandchildren whom he adored, “DC” David Cody Palacios, Maverick Palacios, Haydn Palacios, and Jeremias Palacios. He also leaves behind his siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends who will deeply miss him.
