Olga June Judson Barker

Olga passed away peacefully on November 20, 2023 just two weeks short of her 96^th birthday. She joined her eternal companion who passed away 16 years ago in a joyful reunion. She was born in San Francisco, CA on December 4, 1927 to Herbert Sydney Judson Sr. and Gertrude Evelyn Scarlett as one of 13 children. She had four older brothers, four older sisters, and four younger brothers. She grew up in San Francisco and Oakland, CA and graduated from Castlemont High School in June 1945.

In June 1946 she met a dashing young sailor from Utah and almost five months later she married Allan B. Barker on October 30, 1946 in the Salt Lake City Temple. After they were married they lived in California, Oregon, Nevada, and Utah. There are the parents of four children, Melodie (deceased), Robyn (Kent) Schofield, Marriott-Slaterville, UT, Chris (Sandra) Barker, Hazel Green, AL, Clay (Kaye) Barker, Madison, AL.

She held many positions in Primary, Relief Society, and Sunday School. She worked in many clerical positions and retired from Hill Air Force Base.

After Allan passed away, she married LeLand L. Rowley on December 14, 2008. They were married until he passed away in July 2020 at the age of 100. From this union she got more children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Olga is survived by her three children, stepchildren, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allan; daughter, Melodie; two grandchildren, Paul Schofield and Lynette Schofield Fryer; her parents and all 12 siblings.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the Heritage Park Ward Chapel, 250 North 1500 West, Marriott-Slaterville. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
