Norleen Green Leavitt passed away on December 30, 2025. Norleen was born February 15, 1949, in Ogden, Utah (she grew up in Kanesville (West Haven) Utah) to Merlin and Norma Hancock Green. She graduated from Roy High School in 1967. She met the love of her life, Bob Leavitt, while they were working at Hill AFB, They were sealed in the Ogden LDS Temple. They were happy together and loved and supported each other(Bob said he agreed with this).
She retired from Hill AFB with 38 years of service.
She enjoyed living in Kanesville and helped her parents work on their farm. The highlight of the season was when the whole family helped at harvest time. She helped pack the corn pit with the tractor and drove/dumped the farm truck loaded with silage and helped (bossed) everyone else.
She enjoyed having a twin sister…she always had a best friend to share in doing fun things. They were so much alike.
Norleen enjoyed quilting. She realized the importance of researching family history and enjoyed performing the temple work for those family members.
She is survived by her brother Phil (Jo An- deceased), stepchildren; Robert, Shelley and Mike (Tresta) Leavitt, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers; Blair (Sandy), Keith (Myrna) and sister Merleen Casper (Doug-deceased).
Norleen appreciated all her family, neighbors, and friends that mowed the lawn, shoveled the snow, visited, brought delicious food, and many other acts of kindness.
