January 19, 1935 — May 10, 2024

OGDEN‒Norine Dickemore McPhie, 89 passed away peacefully on Friday, May 10, 2024, of natural causes at Quail Meadow Assisted Living. She was born to Clem and Bernice Stoker Dickemore on January 19, 1935. She was the second child of six children, Marion Dickemore (deceased), Ray Dickemore (deceased), Ron Dickemore, Ellen Wilkerson, and Zearl Lee Dickemore.

Norine was raised in Farr West, Utah. She was taught to work hard by her father, and she was definitely a hard worker. She owned and operated “Granny’s Café” in North Ogden. She also traveled to West Yellowstone in the summer months and operated Frosty Bear. She would travel between North Ogden and West Yellowstone driving in her big car and loved every mile of it…

She married Harold Harmer, and they were later divorced. She later met and married “The Sweetheart Bread Man”, Gary L. McPhie. They lived in several places and ended up in Casper, Wyoming.

Norine did not have any children but was able to enjoy her nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Gary L. McPhie; her parents; one brother; and one sister.

Norine’s wish were to have a private family graveside service.

She was buried next to her “Sweetheart Bread Man” in the Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden, on Wednesday, May 24, 2024.
