Nitsa Toulatos passed away Thursday, April 9, 2026 from natural causes. She was born May 24, 1936 to Christos and Sophia Kayias in Kalavryta, Greece. She immigrated to the United States in 1955.
On September 11, 1962, she married the love of her life, Pete Toulatos. Together they owned and operated Pete’s Café for many years. Pete preceded her in death on April 14, 2001.
She was a member of the Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church of Ogden. She loved cooking for family and friends, but most of all, she cherished spending time with her great-grandchildren—she simply couldn’t get enough of them.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Connie Toulatos; her granddaughter, TeAnna Toulatos; and four great-grandchildren, Alekko, Nemiah, Juelz, and LuZiano. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 38 years, her parents, one brother and two sisters.
The family would like to thank the staff at Auberge for their support and care.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
